Gateshead Library Creative Digital Workshops

Ahead of the Summer holiday, we would love to offer your School some fun and engaging creative digital workshops. These sessions are suitable for year groups in KS2 and would be delivered in our Gateshead Libraries MakerPlace.
MakerPlace is a creative setting which has purpose-built workshop area with access to digital equipment such as a laser cutter, 3D printers, vinyl cutting machines and much more. Themed interactive STEAM and coding activities with the BBC Microbit including.
- Redesign the game of Rock, Paper, Scissors with code.
- Design an interactive game of frustration using code and simple circuits.
- Code and craft an interactive game of reaction time with simple circuits.
Maximum number of participants per session: 30
Session duration: 2hrs
Cost: £100 & £3 per head
