Gateshead Music Hub
Gateshead Music Hub is a partnership of organisations and schools which engage with children and young people in music making across Gateshead local authority. Our aim is to work together to create joined-up music education provision, respond to local need and fulfil the objectives as set out in the National Plan for Music Education.
Music in Schools
The Music Hub works in schools through its traded service, Gateshead Music Service, through partners and self-employed musicians. As part of Gateshead Council's Education Team, the Music Service has over 40 years' experience working across Gateshead, currently working with over 60 schools, and offers schools regular whole class music lessons, small group music lessons and 1-1 lessons.
