GemArts

GemArts is an award winning arts organisation based in the North East of England.  

A nationally recognised leader in the South Asian and diversity arts sector, GemArts creates and programmes high quality concerts, events, festivals, workshops and commissions with regional, national and international artists across all art forms.

School student placements are available to help develop skills and understanding of everything that goes into making art events and projects happen. Students can earn a Bronze Arts award and deliver their own event or learning resource by the end of their placement. HE/FE placements are organised upon application and aim to support inclusive arts activity for those looking to work in the arts and culture.
