Danielle Slade is an award-winning children's writer and facilitator from Cramlington, Northumberland. Danielle's passion is to use her storytelling to address the complexities of mental health to help young people understand their minds. Danielle facilitates creative writing and theatre-making with children and adults in school and community settings. Danielle's play writing credits include Raven (Northern Stage/Alphabetti), Melva (Mortal Fools), Peggy Pearpot (The Customs House) Blitzen on the Tyne (Live Theatre). Danielle is also an accredited Neuroscience and Positive Psychology Coach and implements this into her practice.
Danielle works for Live Theatre's 'Live Tales' regularly, where she helps visiting schools write a story in the morning. Danielle currently runs her own 'Creative writing and wellbeing' sessions on schools.
