National Trust Gibside

Gibside is an 18th century landscape garden and heritage site, with over 600 acres of woodland, waterways, fields and listed buildings.
We welcome school and community groups to book a visit self-led or opt for National Trust-led outdoor, nature connective and curriculum linked activities, such as minibeast hunts, river studies, den building, art in nature, marshmallow toasting, health and wellbeing sessions and much more.
You can also hire activity packs and equipment for your self-led visit to fit in with classroom topics you are exploring.
