Opportunity - Beep Youth Newspaper Journalist Volunteer
Purpose:
The purpose of this post is to write stories for the online and print publications of the youth newspaper BEEP and promote both of these through marketing campaigns and social media.

to research and write stories
to promote the work of the project through social media and wider audiences
to assist in the recruitment of new writers
to help develop the readership of the online version of the publication
Person specification:
Essential
Good communication skills
Good level of literacy
Strong understanding of social media
IT literate
Able to plan and work to strict deadlines
Desirable
Understanding of current affairs
Understanding of monitoring and evaluation techniques
Studying towards a qualification in a subject such as English, Media or Journalism
Experience of marketing and promotion
