Emerald Explorers Backpacks

Emerald Explorers backpacks for families contain creative activities inspired by nature and are available to borrow from Gateshead libraries.

We now also have a collection of Emerald Explorer backpacks with creative prompts devised specifically for adults.

Just like a book, the backpacks are free and loanable for a period of three weeks, issued on a library card and offer the opportunity to explore the outdoors, find inspiration and try out some different creative activities with all the materials provided.

• Blaydon Library

Time outdoors in green spaces, taking part in arts and creative activities, gardening, socialising and increasing exercise, all helps us to feel better and improve our wellbeing.
